My Beloved Haverfordwest County

Where do I begin? 

My favorite player? Gotta be Dan Hawkins, closely followed by Ifan Knot as the goalkeeper. But obviously everyone loves Zac Jones too!

Fun fact: I listened to the Bluebirds Nest podcast over 500+ hours last year, according to my YouTube Roundup. Don't ask how that happened...

I've done a couple Football Manager saves with County over the years, most recently, took Haverfordwest County to the UEFA Conference League final and won! This was only in the 2027/28 season too! Then unfortunately, my game file was corrupted... Football Manager couldn't handle Haverfordwest County taking over the world 💙

I have been watching the Cymru Leagues for years but was always neutral. However a club in South Pembrokeshire changed that forever.

Some of my favorite moments so far supporting County below, let's relive the European Journey.

2022/23 European Playoff Final.

Newtown 1-1 Haverfordwest (3-4 on pens)

What a fucking day that was.

One of my favorite games watching Haverfordwest County, and after that game, I truly fell in love with the club.

Extra time.

Pens.

Pitch invasion.

Sgorio invasion.

The game had it all.

HAVERFORDWEST IN EUROPE - Part 1

2023/24 UEFA Conference League.

1st Qualifying Round.

Shkëndija 1-0 Haverfordwest

Haverfordwest 1-0 Shkëndija (3-4pens)

Unfortunately couldn't make our first European tour since 2004 but I was supporting the lads by stalking the Haverfordwest County Twitter account for score updates. Very proud result in the first leg of the tie! 

Then the second leg, in the Cardiff City Stadium, I was in Ireland on my birthday week. Sorry lads but don't worry, I was watching on YouTube chanting around Dublin.

2023/24 UEFA Conference League.

2nd Qualifying Round.

B36 2-1 Haverfordwest County

Haverfordwest 1-0 B36 "scum" (1-1 AET)

The second round of Qualifying came around, you know I was there! Against the Faroe Island B36 scum.

The stage was set. After B36 locked out County in the changing room at HT in the first leg of the tie. Cardiff City Stadium was ready to smash the B36 bastards back on the plane home. And we was so close!

What a game that was. Such an amazing performance from everyone in County shirt. Very proud from this supporter from that day, blueeebirdsss 💙

I also purchased a limited edition European Haverfordwest County shirt whilst at the ground!

Unfortunately, our European Journey came to a end, but I couldn't be prouder of County. We proved everyone wrong.

Also B36 scum was knocked out in the next round of qualifying. Big thanks to a Croatian club called Rijeka who did that for us. Love you, lads, appreciate it.
